Google Street View in New Orleans Gets Updated

Mayor Mitch Landrieu reports on the Google Lat Long Blog that the Street View imagery in Google Maps was updated on August 14th.  The new imaging comes nearly 7 years after Hurricane Katrina and the federal levee failures in 2005, and more accurately reflects the major construction and renewal that’s underway in New Orleans.
